Defenceless (2004)

Renegade Australian filmmaker Mark Savage lives up to his own moniker with Defenceless (2004). This dialogue-free horror-revenge melodrama chronicles Susanne Hausschmid as The Woman, an environmental activist who is brutalized and made to "disappear" by ruthless land developers. Nine months later, The Woman emerges from the ocean to thunder down a bloody, creatively brutal comeuppance on her tormentors.
