Ghost Ship (2002)

When it comes to spotting super naturals, climb aboard the supernatural vehicle Ghost Ship (2002). Not to be confused with 1952’s British horror flick of the same name, this R rated pic features the alluring Emily Browning. Well, ahoy there! Although the chiller diller was nominated for a Fangoria Chainsaw Award for Worst Picture, we still recommend you give it a look — mostly for the lookers in the cast. In fact, Mr. Skin gives this movie two thumbs (and another part of his anatomy) up! The story starts when Captain Sean Murphy (Gabriel Byrne) leads a salvage team to the Antonia Graza. No, she’s not a lady, but a famous Italian ocean liner that crashed off the Alaskan coastline in 1962. But when the crew starts repairing the ship to bring her back to port, some weird shit starts happening. For example, a naked babe named Francesca (Francesca Rettondini) touts her topless form before shipmate Greer (Isiah Washington). He reacts as any red-blooded man would and develops wood when he sees her beautiful bare breasts. While the gorgeous ghost drifts away, he (and we) get to view her nude BOOty. As expected, it appears this vixen is just a vision. Meanwhile, Maureen Epps (Julianna Margulies) is a stiff-nipped expert who doesn’t get spooked easily, but even she knows something inhuman has taken control of the ship. No doubt with Ms. Browning, Ms. Rettondini and Ms. Margulies on board, it’s only a matter of time before these broads are overrun by seamen!
