Eli Roth's Thanksgiving (2023) is the second film that began life as a fake trailer in Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez's Grindhouse (2007) before being turned into an actual feature film. One year ago, in the town of Plymouth, Massachusetts, there was a riot on Black Friday that ended in the tragic deaths of several people. As Thanksgiving approaches the following year, the town is finally regaining a sense of normalcy when a killer dressed as town founder John Carver begins terrorizing the town and hunting down those responsible for planning the Black Friday event and causing the riot!
