Ride or Die (2021)

Ride or Die (2021) is a Japanese thriller on Netflix about a young woman named Rei who helps a woman that she is head-over-heels in love with leave her marriage. Her lover is in an abusive marriage and she needs to leave regardless, but it helps to have the loving hand of her girlfriend Rei to help her escape. Nanae asks Rei to murder her husband for her, so she gladly does. The two of them then escape and go on the run so that they can be alone, but things are not as blissful as the pair imagined that they would be. Of course, not! They awakened feelings in each other, but those feelings may be destroying one another's lives. Are they getting closer together or falling apart? No relationship that starts with murder is going to be smooth sailing, but that's where the drama comes in. A story about lovers on the run and the lovers are also lesbians?
