Safe Word (2022)

Misa (Chisako Kawase) is a performer and aspiring Japanese idol using the stage name “Misa The Killer” who’s followed around constantly by a cameraman in order to get content for her Youtube channel and other video platforms. One day she’s scouted by the manager of a BDSM club in the red light district of Tokyo and offered a spot as a dominatrix. Misa is angry and dismissive at first, but changes her mind once she meets the club’s top dominatrix, Kanon (Nagisa Torinomi). Misa eventually agrees, going back and forth from her aggressive club persona to serving as Kanon’s submissive pet. Nagisa kicks off the nudity by flashing her bush in order to convince Chisako to join the club, then it’s mostly Chisako who strips down during their BDSM sex scenes, showing boobs and butt while tied up or watching Nagisa pleasure another client. Plus we see both sets of bare twins during a live performance that ends in one of Nagisa’s patented golden showers. The title of the film in Japan is Aishiteru!, which is actually a rarely used way to say “I love you”. We think it’s safe to say we love this interesting combo of Japanese pop culture and the BDSM underground!
