Rescue Me (2004-2009)

Debuting just three years after 9/11, funnyman Denis Leary went the comedy-drama route with the acclaimed FX series Rescue Me. The famous Boston comic plays Tommy Gavin, a New York City firefighter haunted by the losses of September 11th 2001, when over fifty of Tommy's buddies, including some from his ladder: Harlem's Ladder Company 62, died. One of the deceased was his cousin Jimmy (James G. McCaffrey) whose ghost visits him sometimes. But while all firefighters are heroes, these Harlem based ones are far from stand up gentlemen. Tommy's a drunk who tries to sabotage his ex-wife's (Andrea Roth) new relationship, misogynous jokes run rampant, cheating on wives is almost expected, and debauchery is a nearly daily occurrence. But the pressure of battling blazes, and dealing with stuff like lung cancer from being in the dust when the towers fell is what's driving these fire fighting fellas to take on these unhealthy outlets. For seven seasons we watched these dudes deal with issues in both their personal and professional lives. Fortunately, firemen are proven chick magnets, so Rescue Me, like its FX brethren The Shield and Nip/Tuck, doesn’t just blow smoke when it comes to nudity. Skintastic appearances by Callie Thorne, Patricia Velasquez, and others are sure to hook your ladder! Susan Ashton goes for a boob and butt baring ride on top of Denis, Andrea Roth slips nip fighting with him before showing her buns banging him, and Gina Gershon's ginormous jugs are barely held back by her black bra as she lusts after Denis' dick! Rescue Me? More like save some for the rest of us? Add to that the big bosoms of the thick chick Ashlie Atkinson, and more, and you'll realize that if Rescue Me's to be believed, after 9/11 the NYFD was being treated like the heroes they were via a constant supply of kitty. And we're not talking about cats stuck in trees!
