An evil spirit is possessing souls through a camera lens in Playback (2012). Julian (Johnny Pacar) is making a student film as a high school class project and he is getting all the camera equipment from Quinn (Toby Hemingway), who works at the local TV station. But Quinn has been researching a famous murderer and the cursed footage of his crimes allows the psycho to take possession of Quinn’s body.
