Play Dead (2022)

Aspiring criminology student Chloe (Bailee Madison) is about to lose the home her father left her to foreclosure. Her criminal brother TJ (Anthony Turpel) decides to team up with her ex Ross (Chris Lee) and rob people to get enough money to keep the house, but the job gets botched and Ross gets killed. Because the two geniuses planned the heist by text, Ross’s phone is now evidence that can implicate TJ, so in order to save her brother, Chloe decides to fake her own death to get into the morgue and steal back the phone. That should work, right? Except, as it turns out, the coroner (Jerry O’Connell) has a side hustle where he fakes deaths to harvest people’s organs, so she’s not the only body coming back to life in the morgue. And speaking of bodies, about 24 minutes in Bailee and the audience get an eyeful of Lestonja Diaz’s beautiful body when she’s seen laying topless on a slab. She may be playing dead but your lower half will feel very alive!
