Lie to Me The Truth (2021)

The Russian flick Sovri Mne Pravdu, or Lie to Me The Truth (2021), is a film with a premise that will sound familiar to anyone who has seen either Jacques Deray's La Piscine (1969) or the Luca Guadanino directed remake A Bigger Splash (2015). The film centers around a wealthy couple, played by Dariya Melnikova and Alesksandr Oblasov, who are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of their busy lives by spending some time in a secluded cabin in the woods. Everything is going great and the couple are just beginning to rekindle their borderline dormant romance when the woman's ex (Pavil Priluchnyy) arrives with his new girlfriend (Elizaveta Kononova), a woman nearly half his age. The manipulative ex begins to worm his way back into the woman's life through a series of psychological games, while her lover begins to suspect that her ex's new lover is attempting to seduce him, leading to all manner of mistrust amongst the couple. As the week drags on, secrets long thought buried will come to light and the head games will reach an apex and come to a head in an event that ensures none of the four main characters will ever be the same again! We're not entirely sure if Elizaveta Kononova's character is indeed seducing the male lead, but she's got a pair of terrific topless scenes in this flick, including a lengthy topless sunbathing scene, that are sure to get your blood pumping! Grammatical irregularities with the title aside, we wouldn't lie to you about the truth of Elizaveta's beautiful body!
