Nadiuska Nude

When you're born with a name like Roswicha Bertasha Smid Honczar no one can blame you for changing it to the simpler Nadiuska, which is exactly what this Bavaria-born beauty did. But it wasn't in her native land that she gained fame exposing her true talents—that occurred mostly in Spain, after she relocated to Barcelona in 1971, where she reigned as one of the leading ladies of softcore cinema during the late '70s and early '80s. She also worked a little bit of Hollywood magic, starring as Conan’s mother in Conan the Barbarian (1982) with Arnold Schwarzenegger and James Earl Jones, and Emily in Black Commando (1982) with Tony Curtis. Her first movie, though, was Soltero y padre en la vida (1972), playing Gunilla, a Danish hippie girl. Nadiuska has been naked in several films, one of the first being as Julie in Spanish Fly (1976). After falling off her little boat, she emerges soaking wet, her thin white dress doing nothing to conceal her breasts; she’s so wet, so dripping, there’s simply nothing she can do but take off that dress. It was a smart move. She let it all show in La Muerte ronda a Mónica (1976), and shared just the top half (a really nice top half) in La espuela (1976); La amante perfecta (1976); Plus ça va, moins ça va (1977); Suave, cariño, muy suave (1978); Siete chicas peligrosas (1978); and Mi mujer no es mi señora (1978). Rumor has it that after a bout of homelessness, and a diagnosis of schizophrenia, Nadiuska has been spending her time in a mental institution in Madrid.
