Limerence (2022)

Not only is it not the only film titled Limerence, it isn’t even the only short film with that title. There’s a Brazilian horror from 2018 and another one about a female projectionist who becomes smitten with a random woman from 2020. There’s even one just like this about a couple just hanging out from 2024. People, stop naming your film Limerence! Anyway, this one is our favorite because it’s got nudity! NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts graduate Irmak Akgur directs this laid-back look at a young woman (played by nudecomer Zeynep Kalender) hanging out in an apartment on a lazy summer day with her long-haired lover (Elias Gu). Zeynep spends most of the film relaxing with her rack out, and even delivers a nice shot of her ass as she combs her hair. In case you’re wondering, Limerence means “the mental state of being infatuated with someone,” and it’s completely apt because after these nude scenes, we’re now fully obsessed with Zeynep!
