Review
A teen turns to rowing to escape his tough home life in La régate (2009). Alex (Joffrey Verbruggen) has just returned to school after a mysterious two-month absence and is eager to rejoin his teammates on the school’s rowing team. With a pivotal race approaching Alex needs to be at the top of his game, but his alcoholic father (Thierry Hancisse) is making it difficult. Produce your own whitewater to the perfectly upturned peaks of Pénélope Leveque, who strips to get busy with her man. She’ll put the wood in your paddle.
