Like The Wild One (1953) with fewer motorcycles and foxier gals, Jose Ulloa’s Puerto Rican coming-of-age story Juventud sin freno (1978) is a wild tale of teens on the loose. Roughly translated as Youth without Brakes, the film shows plenty of frisky recklessness from its cast, which counts sexy Verónica Miriel in its ranks. The foxy youngster does much more than experience her first pangs of puppy love, however--she screws to her heart’s content, both on the beach and in the bedroom.
