El Francotirador (1978)

Distributed internationally as The Sniper, Carlos Puerto’s El Francotirador (1977) stars Paul Naschy as Lucas, a widower who keeps to himself while raising his pretty daughter in the north of Spain. When a neighbor informs him that his beloved daughter has been cooperating with a ruthless terrorist organization, the mild-mannered man is floored. Unsure of how to proceed, he eventually decides to give himself over to her cause, carefully preparing to assassinate the head of state in a desperate bid to win her approval. Lucas’s actions may seem crazed, but it’s easy to see how femme fatale Blanca Estrada could have worked her mojo on dear old dad. The smoking blonde certainly has a way of getting what she wants, as she demonstrates during jaw-dropping encounters with boys her age.
