Budding lovers find their Eden interrupted in the smoldering Spanish drama Del amor y de la muerte (1977). Antonio Giménez Rico’s film stars former Miss Spain Amparo Muñoz as a lithe young beauty who strikes up a taboo romance with a lucky Latin lad. Their steamy encounters occur indoors and out, on sunny riverfronts and in shadowy bedrooms, until a jealous rival puts an end to the good times. Beautiful Andalucía-born model Muñoz proves she’s a fine addition to any cast, revealing her bronzed body in a couple of indelible scenes.
