Famed British thespian Sir Michael Gambon plays Elliot Graham, a reclusive billionaire driven to the point of suicide by fears that his father may have built his fortune by collaborating with the Nazis in Stephen Poliakoff’s made-for-television drama Joe’s Palace (2007). Despite the title, there’s nothing royal about this production unless you count the regal tease Tina (Rebecca Hall), a delicatessen employee who fails to serve up any nudity. Luckily for us, Charlotte (Kelly Reilly) touts her bra-clad orbs. As the mistress of a cabinet minister (Rupert Penry-Jones) named Richard (or do you say Dick?), the red-haired hottie reveals her alabaster rack in the sack! In fact, she exposes her right breast (as if there is a wrong breast) while having sex 30 minutes into the story. Forget about keeping a stiff upper lip, this skintastic act will give you a stiffy! Of course, this bedroom scene is just a (thankful) diversion from the bigger plot that centers around Joe (Danny Lee Wynter), an unassuming doorman and caretaker who becomes Elliot’s confidant. In other words, it’s Joe’s Palace and we just live in it. As such, the lowly worker convinces Elliot to literally clean house. That is, if Mr. Graham really wants to make up for the past crimes of his family, he needs to return any stolen antiques and other goods to their rightful owners. Mind you, the only goodies that Mr. Skin finds worth having belong to Ms. Reilly. Needless to say, it’s time to look up her flesh-flashing credits!
