Throughout her varied film career, the multi-monikered mama has also been credited as Jackely Giroux, Jackelyn Giroux, Jackie Giroux, Jean Gibson, Robin Whiting, Robyn Whiting, Val Desta, and Valdesta. As a reel Renaissance woman, she’s been a movie producer, director, screenwriter, set decorator and still photographer. Ms. Giroux even co-founded Global Universal Film Group, Inc. yet is best known for her work in front of the camera in such films as To Live and Die in L.A. (1985) and The Cross and the Switchblade (1970). Early in her career, the hardworking hottie used the alias Robyn Whitting to star in a handful of skin flicks. In the broads-behind-bars movie Prison Girls (1972), the beautiful brunette reveals her rack, rump and muff while having a brawl in the shower with a number of arousing inmates played by Uschi Digard, Annik Borel, Maria Aronoff, and Tracy Handfuss. The sultry starlet also duffs her duds for the comedy Video Vixens (1975). During the softcore sexploitation sendoff her character sees a psychiatrist. But instead of watching a head shrinking session, the heads of audiences’ members are likely to expand due to views of the naked babe’s bare breasts, bush and butt!
