Fitting In (2024)

Director Molly McGlynn uses her real-life experiences as someone living with MRKH syndrome to tell the story of a teen named Lindy (Maddie Ziegler). During a routine doctor’s visit, Lindy is diagnosed with the aforementioned affliction, meaning she has no uterus, and instead has a barely-there vaginal cavity. Obviously, this spoils her upcoming plans to lose her virginity to her boyfriend Adam (D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai), but it also changes her perspective on her own womanhood, her identity, and even her sexuality. It’s a lot to deal with, adding even more drama to the already-tense relationship she has with her mother (Emily Hampshire). But she’s still keen to explore new ways to find pleasure, and that means we get several scenes of Maddie masturbating, using toys and lube, taking cheeky selfies, and getting in on in bed with an intersex person named Jax (Ki Griffin). Thanks to Maddie, we were constantly fitting our hand in our pants!
