The plot of Fingerprints (2006) arises from an urban legend in which it’s said that if you park your car in neutral on train tracks where children were killed, the ghost kids will push the vehicle to safety, leaving the fender and windows awash with their—you guessed it—fingerprints. Our heroine is Melanie (Leah Pipes), who, fresh out of rehab, returns to her highly dysfunctional family, including sexy sister Crystal (Kristin Cavallari). After being confronted by various local creeps, a mute little girl named Julie takes to following Melanie. Weird killings start to crop up, and we meet Julie’s older sister (Sally Kirkland), who reveals the town’s horrible secrets dating back to 1957. It all leads to a horrific payoff, but not before Ashley Wyatt rewards us with a view of her terrific bare body.
