Double Walker (2021)

The protagonist of the haunting film Double Walker (2021) is a ghost, which makes it unlike nearly every other film that's been released over the last few years. Sylvie Mix, who also co-wrote and produced the film, stars as the unnamed ghost who wanders the streets of a small town where she thinks she once lived. Over the course of the film's first act, the ghost experiences flashbacks to a violent incident that led to her death, and she slowly begins to piece together the mystery behind how she became a ghost. Now, equipped with information as to who is responsible for her death, the ghost will enact a supernatural revenge on the men responsible, systematically hunting them down, seducing them, and eventually destroying them. It's basically like an unofficial sequel to Promising Young Woman (2020), reimagining that film's denouement into an entire feature film. That's awfully reductive, however, as this is a film that marches to the beat of its own drum. It's a revenge fantasy horror film unlike anything you've ever seen before and nothing can prepare you for what awaits in this flick. We almost guarantee you're also going to fall hard for leading lady Sylvie Mix, who spends a lot of her screen time completely nude. The film artfully dodges shots that would simply linger on her nude body, but there are plenty of nice looks at Sylvie's boobs and buns, as well as two near misses where we almost see her bush! All the nudity in Double Walker might have you pulling a double hander!
