Birthright (2024)

Thomas (Diego Montez) lives with his partner Beni (Yohan Levy) in Germany but while the couple are visiting Thomas’s home country of Brazil, he learns that his European residence permit will not be renewed. Fortunately at the same time, Thomas discovers that his estranged mother has died and left him a large house in the Brazilian countryside. Upon moving in, they meet two aunts, Vitória (Analú Prestes) and Berta (Cristina Pereira), who welcome him home like a prodigal son and teach Thomas about the grandmother he never knew. There’s also a youing maid named Mandinha (Luiza Kozovski) who helps with domestic duties. Sounds great, right? Thomas sure thinks so, but Beni suspects that something more sinister is at play. It turns out Beni’s right, of course, and soon his man is getting held down and bounced upon by a fully nude Luiza during a spooky ritual in the woods. She takes “shaking what your mama gave you” to a whole new level!
