Review
As the old saying goes, if a guy is doomed to falling in love with something, better with a car than with a woman. The high-school-senior hero of Corvette Summer (1978) pledges his affections to a custom Stingray that he designed and built as a shop-class thesis. So far is so good, until the automobile is stolen. The heartbroken teen pledges to tool about the streets of Las Vegas until he tracks down and reclaims his beloved machine, even if it takes all summer. A young chick whose career ambitions veer toward the field of sexual industry offers the stricken lad a helping hand, and his real woes are about to begin.
