Cold Copy (2024)

Now that Black-ish is over, Tracee Ellis Ross is settling nicely into these more villainous roles like in the thriller Cold Copy (2023) where she stars as Diane Heger, a well respected but ruthless reporter and college professor who takes ambitious journalism student Mia Scott (Bel Powley) under her wing. When Mia stumbles on a human interest story involving a boy named Igor (Jacob Tremblay), Diane encourages her to dig deeper, which means that a friendship begins to develop between Mia and Igor. Diane warns her that she may have to cross the line in order to get the story, and Mia will soon discover how far she's willing to go for a good story! An hour and twenty one minutes in, we get a steamy sauna scene where Bel Powley and Tracee Ellis Ross have a power play while wearing towels. They never drop those towels, but there are plenty of naked women around them to ogle! That'll turn your Cold Copy into Hard Copy!
