When you’re the daughter of a musical legend, great things are expected of you, and Tracee Ellis Rossdelivers. Mom Diana Ross encouraged her offspring’s interest in acting, and Tracee made her debut as Kiki in the film Far Harbor in 1996. It would be a couple of years, and a couple of small parts, before she landed the career-making role of Joan Clayton in more than 170 episodes of the TV series Girlfriends from 2000-2008. While killing it on the small screen, the tall and willowy actress set out to conquer the big screen as Kim in Nora Ephron’s Hanging Up (2000) with Diane Keaton and Meg Ryan, and as Cynthia in Tyler Perry’s Daddy’s Little Girls (2007) with Gabrielle Union. After she stopped being a girlfriend, she hung with Lindsay Lohan in Labor Pains (2009), then headed back to TV as Carla Reed on the 2011 series Reed Between the Lines, followed by a shot as Rachel in the TV movie Bad Girls (2012) with Jurnee Smollett, Jaime Pressley, and Amy Smart. Tracee hit paydirt with another series when she was cast as Rainbow “Bow” Johnson with Anthony Anderson in the hit TV show Black-ish from 2014-2021, and Mr. Skin hit paydirt when her character emerged from the bathtub. Tracee stands all sudsy and wet and naked—but it’s primetime ABC, so all the personal and private parts are pixelated out. But still, it’s enough to see that Ms. Ross keeps things tight and trim, and has some firm thighs that could do damage wrapped around a head (either one).
