Chinese Puzzle (2013)

Believe it or not, Chinese Puzzle (2014) is actually a French movie that was filmed in English, French, Chinese, Spanish, and Yiddish. But since it features so many skinternational starlets, the universal language of lust never gets lost in translation. Let’s hear it for foreign tongues! Following L’Auberge Espagnole (2002) and Les Poupées russes (2005), this romantic dramedy is the third and final installment of Cédric Klapisch’s Spanish Apartment trilogy. The R rated flick centers around Frenchman Xavier Rousseau (Romain Duris) who becomes disillusioned when his ex-wife (Kelly Reilly) moves to New York City with their children. Rather than live across the pond from his kids, he follows them to the Big Apple. In addition to feeling culture shock, Xavier is surprised to learn he must get hitched to earn a green card. Complications aren’t the only things that arise when Monsieur Rousseau stumbles in on his friend Isabelle (Cécile de France) and the babysitter (Flore Bonaventura) engaged in a fully nude sapphic tryst. Not only do the dyke-namic duo reveal their lesbian tendencies, they expose their three Bs! The film also includes Audrey Tautou, Li Jun Li, Sandrine Holt, and Cécile’s nude booty. When the French tart pulls down her Daisy Dukes, we get to see her derrière. And as Ms. de France pees on a wall like a dude, she gives new meaning to the words “oui, oui.” Of course, it goes without saying that when it comes to scenes that include flesh flashing, Mr. Skin says “oui, oui” too!
