Bartleby (2001)

World-class weirdo Crispin Glover stars in Bartleby (2001), an adaptation of the Herman Melville short story about a clerk who suddenly begins to answer every demand by his employer with the single phrase, “I would prefer not to.” Fans of Crispin will see this as a defining performance on par with Willard (2003). When asked if they wanted to show some female nudity, the producers must have preferred not to, but they did provide a fantasy sequence in which unbelievably hot Greta Danielle Newgren lies nude on a desk covering her headlights with a strategically placed arm and her bush with a drawn-up leg.
