Biography

Andrea Martin, the funny and fierce aficionado of classic television sketch-comedy, SCTV, may not be as well known as her colossally famous castmates like Martin Short, John Candy, Eugene Levy and Harold Ramis but Andrea's body was what turned SCTV into must see TV. While she never hit the heights of those comedy titans, this dandy of a Downeaster still became a hugely successful actress, with an astounding 168 acting credits to her name. Born in Portland, Maine, Andrea actually started her movie career in a pair of cult horror classics: Cannibal Girls (1973) and Black Christmas (1974), before she found herself on the legendary Canadian sketch show. When that run was over, Andrea mixed theater work with the occasional movie, but she's really been flexing her vocal muscles behind the scenes, lending her voice to kids cartoons since the 80s. You might recognize her voice from such shows as Rugrats, Darkwing Duck, Hercules, Jimmy Neutron, and Kim Possible. In front of the camera, this talented and timeless comedienne came back into the limelight as the delightfully daffy Aunt Voula in box office bonanza My Big Fat Greek Wedding (2002), and My Big Fat Greek Wedding II (2016). While Ms. Martin might not be what you'd call a spring chicken, this mischievous MILF had us sprung when she showed us what she was really made of in Breaking Upwards (2009). Our peckers were pointing straight up when she stripped down to her skivvies and showed that there's a little lust in this loopy lady after all. After releasing the clickbait titled autobiography we couldn't bate to, "Lady Parts", she took the recurring role of Francesca Lovatelli on The Good Fight. Hopefully she does nudity. When it comes to comely comedy legends like Andrea, one undie scene is just not good enough!
