All the Old Knives (2022)

Based on the book of the same name by Olen Steinhauer, All the Old Knives (2022) opens with a harrowing hijacking scene where the CIA attempts to avert a crisis but ends up with over a hundred dead hostages on their hands. A decade later, CIA agent Henry Pelham (Chris Pine) is tasked by his boss (Laurence Fishburne) to smoke out a potential mole within the unit that botched the operation. He must rendezvous with an old flame, Celia Favreau (Thandiwe Newton) who was working in the unit at the time to find out if the former head of that unit, Bill Compton (Jonathan Pryce) knows why a suspicious phone call was placed to the hijackers from his phone in the lead up to the hijacking. Of course, the real danger here is that the relationship between Henry and Celia will be rekindled, potentially muddling his involvement with the investigation, and the sparks do fly between the two. In fact, Thandiwe Newton bares some terrific T'n'A during their two sex scenes together! All the Old Knives will have you polishing your blade!
