They say the rules for sequels are always tricky...  The film needs to go bigger, but not TOO big.  New is a good thing, but most importantly of all you need to re-establish the characters and their relationships right away and for this 2020 follow-up to the Anna Todd novel and the 2019 flick of the same name After, we are dropped right back in where things left off in this sequel, After We Collided (2020).  The hunky and somewhat mysterious Hardin (Hero Fiennes Tiffin) is brooding more than normal over the way him and the love of his life, Tessa (Josephine Langford), ended things.  His actions in the previous chapter of their story basically pushed Tessa away from him and forced her to pour herself into her career, to which she does with astounding success.  Tessa ends up drunk on a business trip and her first instinct is to call her ex but that just draws them back together for even more hanky panky!  If you've ever been in one of these relationships, you definitely know that when that phone rings, you're going to pick up and you both are going to hate yourselves a little bit the morning after, but can Tessa AND Hardin both change?  Can they both stop hurting each other and finally figure out a way to make the good parts of their relationship the bedrock or do they both still have too many secrets to hide from each other?  As we mentioned, bigger isn't always better, but this sequel definitely delivers a TON more skin from star Josephine Langford and just a bit from the insanely sexy Inanna Sarkis too.
