Twenty Minute Exotic Getaway (2021)

It's a short film that takes place in a dystopian future where crime, poverty, terrorism, and sickness have rendered the outside world unlivable. No longer just a hobby, virtual reality has become people’s sole escape in the form of the film’s title. Devon Beckwourth (the short’s writer and director Hollis Sherman-Pepe) uses the AI to imagine herself in a grassy meadow full of yellow flowers or having a romantic candlelit dinner - she even wears VR goggles while having sex with her husband. People have become too reliant on technology and as Devon’s addiction to the VR world grows, it seems she’s being warned of what the result could be from inside the system itself. The getaways may be virtual but Hollis’s hooters are real - and fabulous as she and Quincy Chad get in on in the bedroom, turning this exotic getaway into an erotic one at just 4 minutes in!
