Transylmania (2009)

It may not be an obvious combination but humor and horror often go together, especially when it comes to vampire movies. The ’80s brought film fans The Munsters’ Revenge (1981), Fright Night (1985), Once Bitten (1985), The Lost Boys (1987), My Best Friend is a Vampire (1987), and Vampire’s Kiss (1988). These flicks were followed by Rockula (1990), Dracula: Dead and Loving It (1995), Vampire in Brooklyn (1995), Frostbite (2006), Fright Night (2011), Dark Shadows (2012), What We Do in the Shadows (2014), Bloodsucking Bastards (2015), Day Shift (2022), and Renfield (2023). Of course, we can’t forget to mention Transylmania (2009). As an installment in National Lampoon’s Dorm Daze franchise, you know jokes and jugs will be dead center. The scary satire follows a group of college students doing a semester abroad in spooky Romania. The gang includes horndog Rusty (Oren Skoog); stoners Pete (Patrick Cavanaugh) and Wang (Paul H. Kim); geeky Brady (Worm Miller); titillating twins Lia (Natalie Garza) and Dani (Nicole Garza); and ditzy blonde Lynne (Jennifer Lyons). Luckily for us, the latter lass slips a nip while dancing in a corset. She’s accompanied by topless succubi Asha (Radita Rosu), Mira (Adriana Butoi), and Niobe (Desiree Malonga) who sleeps in sexy lingerie. If that’s not erotic enough, Stephania (Simon Petric) reveals her rack in the sack. Not to be outdone, Draguta Floca (Irena A. Hoffman) bares her be-thonged buns and a plastic surgery patient (Kommerina DeYoung) shows nude boobage. Suffice it to say, there’s plenty to sink your teeth into!
