The Virtuoso (2021)

Anson Mount, perhaps best known as Bohannon on the hit series Hell on Wheels, plays the title character in The Virtuoso (2021), one of those movies where none of the characters have proper names, they're just referred to by their profession. Mount's character is a trained assassin, the best in the business, who is given a vague new assignment from The Mentor (Anthony Hopkins). He doesn't know whom or what his target is, only that he must be at a certain place at a certain time. When he arrives at this certain place and time—a diner in the middle of nowhere at 5pm—there are multiple options that could potentially be his target. Could it be The Loner (Eddie Marsan)? Or maybe it's The Deputy (David Morse). Then again, Handsome Johnnie (Richard Brake) and Johnnie's Girl (Diora Baird) are also potential suspects. He knows, however, that it couldn't possibly be The Waitress (Abbie Cornish), a beautiful young woman The Virtuoso bedded when he first arrived in town. Their motel sex scene together is a great place to catch Ms. Cornish's hens—aka her bare breasts—when she first reveals them while sitting on a bed, and later when they have a dimly lit sex scene! The Virtuoso is the kind of movie that keeps you guessing right up until the very last minute, and even then you'll be scratching your head as you attempt to piece it all together and debate watching it again to figure it all out! Meanwhile, the rest of us have been watching Abbie Cornish's nude scene on repeat! That's the only nut worth cracking... a nut to!
