Review

The Jacket (2005) refers to a straightjacket, which wounded Iraq War vet Adrien Brody is put into after he returns from the front acting like a nut. His doctor, played by Kris Kristofferson, pumps him up with all sorts of psychotropic drugs, and the hallucinations aren't half bad, especially since they involve Keira Knightley. She's in some sort of danger and Brody wants to help her. Does he? Well, who cares, after he gets to do her! This is only Keira's second skin onscreen, and in her nude debut, The Hole (2001), she was dead, so it's an improvement. The sex scenes are arty and dark, though, so let's hope the third's the charm--no jacket required.
