Review

The Hillside Strangler (2004) is a dark and depressing movie, but it proves that serial killers aren’t the lone wolves that they’re often portrayed as in the movies. This reenactment of the infamous California murders of the ’70s follows not one but two nut jobs that team up to prey on hookers. After their own attempt to pimp goes astray they discover that even better than making it with their stable is killing them. Jessica Allegra, Natasha Melnick, Kylie Rachel, and Brandin Rackley all play the poisonous pair’s victims. As hard as it is to take watching them die, it gets even harder, as they’re all naked before meeting their maker. The hillside isn’t the only thing that viewers will be strangling while watching this.
