Rapturious (2007)

Robert Oppel is Rapturious (2007), a hip-hop up-and-comer whose days are full of interviews, aggressive agents, and, most importantly, drugs, drugs, drugs—his habit's so bad that his career might be on the line. When his pushy pusher, Hoya Guerra, hands him a new high reputed to be the best there is, Rob can't resist the temptation to diversify. Instead of bouncing off the walls, however, he finds himself experiencing wiggy visions and demon-haunted dreams. His manager, indie scream queen Debbie Rochon, always thought something was a little off about Rob, but when his unholy paranoia begins threatening his very existence, she starts wondering if maybe Mr. Rapturious hasn't finally experienced a psychological apocalypse. Are demons really after his immortal soul, or is he just mental? Is there anything anyone can do? Doctor Joe Bob Briggs, how about you? As the trippiness gets trippier and the barbarities get more barbarous, Rob must determine whether the atrocities all around him are in his head, or if they're real . . . and is he the one behind them?
