The Dress (1996)

Mr. Skin is always rooting for women to take their clothes off, but never moreso than while watching Alex van Warmerdam’s experimental Dutch drama The Dress (1996). Of course the women are sexy, but the big reason we were hoping the ladies would undress is because the actual dress they're all wearing brings nothing but misfortune and misery! A Spanish man crafts a dress in anger over a failed relationship, which apparently imbues the brightly colored sundress with all sorts of bad juju. So, we watch as a middle aged woman (Elisabeth Hoijtink) buys it, only to get robbed immediately after. Then it lands in the hands of a sexy young woman (Ariane Schluter) who gets her apartment invaded by a lusty criminal who spotted her on the train. Later, the same dude will attack a teen (Ricky Koole) who ends up with the dress once it's been sold to a consignment shop. Eventually, it'll get turned into a scarf and a homeless woman (Olga Zuiderhoek) will die wearing it, ending it's carnival of bad luck. It sounds incredibly depressing, but believe it or nor this is a dark comedy. A really dark one. The way to stay safe from bad clothes is to never wear any, just like a few of the gorgeous females do in this flick. Ricky Koole, Maike Meijer, and Ariane Schluter are a few of the curvy characters who come into close proximity with the garment, but all three take turns stepping out of it to let their flesh flags fly. Ricky Koole is forced to strip by the dude from the train, and we watch as she loses the evil dress to go full frontal. She tries to hide her best parts with her hands, but those digits can't contain those jiggly jugs! She doesn't try to hide anything when she gets out of bed naked, though, which gives a great look at her rack. Good luck keeping your Koole seeing those things! Maije Meijer shows bush and tush running out of the house with a bra, but no panties on as she finishes a fight with her man, while Ariane Schluter plays a cleaning woman who flashes tits and ass trying to hide an affair she's having. With all those women undressing, you'll make a sticky mess watching The Dress!
