Dr. Benjamin Ludwig (Manuel Rubey) and his partner Matthias (Laurence Rupp) have left Vienna and relocated to a small Lower Austrian village, planning to open a practice in the old farmhouse they bought… that is until the bodies of three babies are discovered in the basement after a flood. Now it’s a crime scene, though it looks like the crime took place more than a decade ago, and the investigation gets taken over from local policewoman Ulli Herzog (Julia Franz Richter) by Colonel Marion Reitter (Regina Fritsch). Marion has more experience but she still receives help from Ulli, who knew the family that used to live in the supposedly “cursed” country house personally. Ulli and her husband seem to have a curse of their own hanging over them - they’ve been trying to get pregnant but it hasn’t been working out. They’ve basically given up at this point, seemingly wanting different things, and though we at least get to see Julia in her panties in a pair of scenes, the film is cursed with a distinct lack of nudity.
