The Clowns (2024)

The Polish film Błazny, or The Clowns (2024), takes place at a prestigious acting academy, where acclaimed filmmaker Gajda (Oskar Hamerski) has just announced that he will cast his next film exclusively from this year's graduating class. The already competitive students now take their rivalries and jealousies to new heights when Gajda leaves them with a singular camera and absolutely no further instructions or directions. The levels to which these attention seeking individuals will stoop in order to make some kind of impression on this director drives the rest of the film, particularly when all of their improvisations tend to focus on notorious biblical stories of hatred like Cain and Abel and the Polish fairy tale Balladyna and Alina about jealous sisters. We're mostly jealous of the lucky dude that gets to have sex with Magdalena Dwurzynska, especially as her big naturals jiggle about during sex!
