Terrifier 2 (2022)

One year after the events of the original, we meet high school student Sienna Shaw (Lauren LaVera) and her brother Jonathan (Elliot Fullam). While Jonathan is fascinated by the urban legend of Art, the Miles County Clown, Sienna is so thoroughly creeped out she has a frighteningly vivid nightmare about him. Turns out the deranged, sadistic clown has set his sights on Sienna in reality, which means slaughtering her friends and family before taking her out. On Halloween, of course, which Sienna’s mom laments has become “synonymous with sex” when she finally sees her daughter’s costume: a sort of winged battle angel taken from a character design by her late father. But we know sex is also synonymous with the horror genre, watching Sienna’s friend Allie (Casey Hartnett) get ripped apart while in a lacy bra and panty set, and zeroing in on Lauren’s armor-clad cleavage as she battles to survive is typical even for this gore fest. When there’s this much mutilation, you have to throw audiences a bone - literally!
