Adolescent sexual obsession is an enduring and amusing condition that will forever be ripe for cinematic exploration. Student Affairs presents an innovation upon the standard formula of erotic hijinks committed by hot-pants high-school kids and amorously addled authority figures by adding an element of cinema verite. The campus rumpus is presented as a film within a film, with the young-love action occurring upon the set of a cheesy exploitation epic. The movie-makers’ bedroom behaviors are no more bridled than those of their fictionalized subjects. There is a lesson in libido to be learned from this set of Student Affairs.
