Sherry Stringfield Nude

People do funny things. Sometimes they work hard all their lives and achieve exactly what they have been striving for, then they walk away. A nation of skin watchers is left to wonder, "Geez, why did Sherry Stringfield show her great ass in a series of quick shots on NYPD Blue way back in 1993 and then basically pull a disappearing act? Why did she remove from us the strong, compassionate sensuality of her face and the hope of seeing her breasts, more of her butt, and maybe even her bush?" There is no answer for such questions. After only one year at NYPD Blue, portraying David Caruso's ex-wife, Sherry opted out of her contract. After two seasons on ER, she ditched that gig as well. In 2001 she negotiated a deal to return to ER for three more terms. She quit again in 2005 and returned once more for the 2009 series finale. She then secured roles that she would have been more comfortable with, namely movies and TV guest spots and other gigs that don't require prolonged commitment. Such projects include one episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm, a feature called The Stepfather (2009), and the TV movies Back (2009), Who Is Clark Rockefeller? (2010), The Shunning (2011), Hornet's Nest (2012), and Runaway (2014). Sherry did step out of her comfort zone to play recurring roles in Under the Dome and Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, but she hasn't again gotten comfortable enough to strip naked on screen. Ms. Stringfield's been stringing us along for decades.
