Review

The heartwarming film Saving Face (2004), from Chinese American writer/director Alice Wu, shows the contrast between traditional Chinese society and anything-goes American culture. A young Chinese American lesbian (Michelle Krusiec) practicing as a surgeon in New York is shocked when her traditionalist single mother shows up pregnant on her doorstep.
