Saved by the Belles (2003)

A drag queen and his coked-up best friend decide to nurse an amnesiac child back to health in the kooky Canadian comedy Saved by the Belles (2003). Cross-dressing Sheena (Brian Charbonneau) and drug-huffing Scarlet (Karen Simpson) are looking for something to keep them grounded, so when they stumble across an ailing child, they figure they can be of some use to the poor orphan. After nursing him to health at their off-the-wall party headquarters, the Montreal club kids embark on an epic journey to locate the child’s rightful owner. Ziad Touma’s debut feature is chockfull of not-so-clean fun, including copious scenes of the diva Scarlet indulging her fetishes in the buff.
