One must always bear in mind—or in Mr. Skin's case, bare in mind—that the Dutch simply have a much darker, infinitely more morbid sense of humor than most other Europeans, and Project Herbert (2024) continues that proud tradition. Forty-something Herbert (Thomas Höppener) has a decent job as a civil servant, but his mother cannot stand having him in her house any longer and has him removed by police order. With few other options, Herbert exploits a loophole in his search for housing and ends up in, essentially, a coed frat house. When Herbert begins using what little governmental influence he has to get much needed renovations for the student housing, his entire lifestyle is called into question, with a lot of people left wondering, "why are you living here, dude?" and "what's up between you and your mother, Herbert?" When Herbert first comes to the student housing, we get some terrific T'n'A from randy resident Juliette Van Emmerik, who exits the communal shower with a small towel, giving her girlfriend a kiss on the way out! Looks like you're working on Project Hard-on!
