Point Break (1991)

Directed by future Oscar winner Kathryn Bigelow, and featuring the A-list duo of Patrick Swayze and Keanu Reeves, Point Break (1991) elevated itself above a B movie plot to become one of the most iconic action flicks of all time. Reeves is former Ohio State quarterback Johnny Utah, an FBI agent whose youth and athletic background leads to him being tasked with learning to surf to infiltrate the California surfing community. See, there's a group of bank robbers wearing masks molded after former presidents the FBI just can't pin down. But since they stop robbing after surf season, have incredible tan lines, and accidentally leave behind traces of surf board wax, the FBI is convinced they're surfers financing an endless summer of sand and sun. Utah infiltrates the community, and runs headfirst into their spiritual leader, Bodhi (Swayze). But when Johnny falls in love with surf babe Tyler (Lori Petty) and forms a serious brotherly bond with Bodhi, the question becomes if Johnny is in too deep to bring the ex-presidents down. Sound like The Fast and the Furious (2001)? It's very similar, but the big advantage of the beach over the streets is the copious amounts of bikini babes! On top of all that, we get to see Julie Michaels going topless in the middle of an FBI drug bust that will have you busting a load. Hang ten? Nah, we'll stay inside and play with those hangers! Vaya Con Dios? No, we'll just stay home with those DDs! Surf when you can check out those suck sacks? What's the point, Point Break? But you'll need to see Lori Petty's bush while she changes out of her wet suit to understand why Johnny Utah struggled to stick with his life in law enforcement.
