Shortbus (2006) star Sook-Yin Lee steps behind the camera for Paying For It (2024), based on the 2011 graphic novel of the same name by Chester Brown. Canadian actor Dan Beirne stars as Brown, whose relationship with Sonny (Emily Lê) has hit a wall and now she has admitted that she's in love with someone else, mostly due to his lack of intimacy with her. Because they do share a deep affection for one another, rather than breaking up, they decide to explore outside relationships, which sends Chester on a quest to find intimacy through a string of encounters with sex workers.
His first few encounters end awkwardly, with both Lea Rose Sebastianis and Hannia Cheng baring their breasts while Chester prematurely blows his load! He has more luck with the kind-hearted Denise (Andrea Werhun), with whom he experiences true intimacy, leading to three sex scenes where she shows off her spectacular rack!
