Normal (2007)

Before there was Normal People (2020), Normal Doors (2015) and My Normal (2010), there was just Normal (2007). Not to be confused with the pic Normal (2003), this R rated flick follows the lives of three strangers brought together in the aftermath of a fatal car wreck. Although the Canadian drama hasn’t been seen by many Yanks in the States, it’s worth a watch. Carrie-Anne Moss plays Catherine, the mother of the accident’s teenage victim. Callum Keith Rennie is a drunken womanizing college professor named Walt Braugher, who has an autistic brother (Tygh Runyan). The story also includes Abby (Allison Hossack), Melissa (Brittney Irvin), Sylvie (Tara Frederick), and Bob the social worker (Zak Santiago). Lastly, there’s a pizza deliveryman (Kevin Zegers) who starts to have an affair with his stepmother Elise (Camille Sullivan) after he gets out of jail. We can’t say we blame him since she’s one hot mama! In fact, Ms. Sullivan reveals her ravishing rack 45 minutes into the movie. If that’s not arousing enough, Sherri Banks (Lauren Lee Smith) will fill your spank bank at the 42-minute mark. That’s when she rides Professor Braugher on the floor. In Mr. Skin’s book, that’s perfectly normal. All of us here at Skin Central bet Ms. Banks also aces her oral exams! For his performance as the randy teacher who makes his sexy student’s top disappear, Mr. Rennie won the Genie Award for Best Supporting Actor.
