Now, twenty three years later, Gracie and Joe (Charles Melton) are happily married with three children, and they are being paid a visit by Elizabeth Berry (Natalie Portman), an actress recently cast to play Gracie in an upcoming biopic, whose appearance in their lives will radically alter Gracie and Joe's relationship.
