Marie Krøyer (2012) is the wife of famous Danish painter P.S. Krøyer, an artist sought out by nearly every political figure in Denmark. The couple lived in Skagen, a veritable Nordic painting of a town, where many other artists lived and works thanks to the beauty of the scenery. The only trouble? Marie, who was much younger than her famous husband, was also a painter and the recipient of many of his insults. Needless to say, Marie is pretty unhappy with her marriage and embarks on an affair with the composer Alfven. Her husband won't divorce her, so she skips town, intent following Alfven to his home country—if only Danish law allowed it. Instead, she struggles to get out of her abusive marriage and a country that now seems like it's holding her hostage. The good news is that said affair with said composer is pretty hot, and we see both nips on Birgitte Hjort Sørensen while she locks lips and rolls around in bed with her man!
