Mad Max (1979)

The absolute pinnacle of the Ozploitation movement, Mad Max (1979) is the original post-apocalyptic action thriller. In the role that made him a star, Mel Gibson stars as Max Rockatansky, a cop who turns into a vigilante following the murder of his wife and child, appointing himself judge, jury, and executioner in the wasteland he calls home. The vicious band of thugs responsible for these murders, led by the despicable Toecutter (Hugh Keays-Byrne), thinks they're invincible, but they've never faced a foe like Mad Max before, and if Max has his way, they never will again! Unfortunately, the only nudity in the film is from an uncredited actress who bares full frontal while banging a guy in the opening moments of the film. There are some sexy looks at Joanne Samuel as Max's doomed wife in a bikini, but this series was never all that focused on Skin.
